On a side note:
Actually my geek factor should be 110%, because I've switched completely to Linux (primarely Ubuntu 6.10/7.04) ;)
"Uber geek"
I'm developing web sites and applications under linux, I'm doing all the other stuff under linux - and M$ can suck my brown ass! ;)

For those of you too lazy to click:
ginsterbusch's geek factor is only 49%.
I'm at 42%.
kylebellamy is 46%.
Null is 49%.
jaz is 56%.
Majic is 56%.

Yeah, I think ginsterbusch beats me by way more more than 7%. :)
And yeah, I had some spare time on my hands.
...which doesn't happen often over here in Asia.
Please contiune to vote AND post.

i do simple html/css stuff, some c++, some vector graphics (learning) and abuse mendoder/ffmpeg :D
i use gentoo [unstable (~x86)],
gentoo-amd64 [unstable (~amd64)],
ubuntu [unstable (feisty's unstable repo]
and i'm planning to install Gentoo/FreeBSD [also unstable (~x86-fbsd) ] on my pc.
i don't have windows anymore on my pc and i don't really care about the games. what should be mine geek factor then? "total nut-case?" :D

hmm ...
I do Usability shit, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript (incl. Unobtrusive JS, AJAX + JSON), PHP 4/5, C#, Java, Photoshop (WINE + QEMU/VirtualBox are a great help - but a proper Mac OS X emulator would help lootsa more!), etc.
About the OSes:
at work: happily hacking away in Ubuntu (as told before)
at home: sadly toddling along in SuSE 10.0 (the rusty old Win98SE p233 doesnt actually count anymore - is down for maintenance after a hdd failure 2 weeks ago)
mobile: if all works out good, it'll be Ubuntu, too ;)
something about 70 - 80% should be correct, but not that puny 49% i got!
