Virtual machines and Virtuality

60% | 2

Virtual machines may make anything possible. That is, when it comes to doing things that help the computer user.

Possibly, as the author of the following article suggests, computer companies aren't too keen on the resulting freedom computer users would gain.

Check out the article and then reply to this topic if it so suits your fancy.

At any rate, I like this article and it gives me hope to being able to compute on different plateforms without having to own more than one machine. Maybe I am not able to own only one machine, what about a backup machine? Or a mobile machine?

Thank you for your readership.

My intention in posting the title as it is, was to draw more interest to it, as the title seemingly suggest provacative activities, which, in these times, seems attractive.

But, I now wish to change it and for some reason am not given the option.

Why now, as not in other posts and journal entries, am I not given the option to edit my post?

I can not see the, "edit your post?"

I'll take my answer off air.

It might be a bug. I'm not sure tho. The mechanism behind it is that with your current rank you're limited to two posts a day. (In theory your rank should go up fast as other people rate your posts; in reality, few people still rate posts these days.) My theory is that when you've used up that daily quota, everything post-writing-related just disappears, including the Edit link.

For a temporary solution I've increased your daily post limit for today, so you should be able to post & edit quite a bit. (I can only increase your quota for the current day, so remind me to do it again tomorrow if you bump into that limit again.)

Awesome! I'm usually careful about throwing just anything up and I appreciate your generosity. Plus, knowing that I aim in aiding an increasing of the readership within the Book forum -- by rating and replying -- I will need more posting allowance.

Right now I feel as to jump about and run in a crazed episode of mania i.e. joy in this case, much like Daffy Duck is known for.

FIY: Probably not, cause he's sitting in Liechtenstein, which does not participate in the European Monetary Union. I guess it must be something like Swiss Franks. ;)

Well, it cost about twenty seconds of my time. I know that time is money, but I'm not sure what currency applies. It's probably not a lot of money tho.

It would seem that the cost in time, relevant to which ever currency, would be that time well spent. Thus, the time spent is much appreciated.

And besides, I mean the original question, pertaining to paying in Euros, as a funny.
