I'll bite. And I do mean literally.. I want that chocolate. All you other NAOmites better watch out. ;)
And no, I don't agree with you when you say women won't want to post well on account of their 'diet.' Women secretly yearn for chocolate, I have no doubts. Ever see a woman receive a box of chocolates?
Woman: "Chocolate?! For me?! Aww.. you shouldn't have. I'm on a diet, so I'm not going to probably eat it.. But you're sweet anyway."
Man: "I just thought I'd bring something for our..."
*Woman staring at box of chocolates*
Man: "...date. You ready to go?"
*Woman continuing to stare at box of chocolates*
Man: "You okay?"
Woman: "Yes, chocolate! I'd love some, thanks!"
*Woman reaches into box of chocolates happily*
If the world should blow itself up,the last audible voice would be an expert saying it can't be done
You're basically stating that we, women, have no will power whatsoever. Ever thought that maybe we can actually control what we eat, and in which quantity do we eat it? Maybe we do eat chocolate despite we're on a diet. This doesn't mean, however, that we're breaking our diet you know. It just mean that we calculated rapidly how many calories we can afford to choke down without gaining too much fat, which would gently deposit on our buttocks ;)
And we do have will power. Today for example I did not eat any tiny little bit of chocolate at all. And you know well that we have that at our place. However, my will power is strong enough to keep me from even desiring it ;) Heh today I am spitting out words as if I were a classical British poet :P
Anyway, if the Swiss chocolate Null was referring to was the Lindt Lidor eggs... well count me in. And if I win, fill me up with white ones ;)

She just said she has will power against chocolate, and then she asks for white chocolate.
I think no further comment is necessary. Heh.
(Oh, and the white Lindor stuff is of course available. They also have introduced new sorts a while ago, have you yet had a chance to try the stracciatella Lindor?)
Consider yourself hugged.

On Chocolate
White chocolate, as I have come to understand it, isn't anything but the cocao butter, minus the caffeine and what not.
I would say that it is the longing for satiety that brings us to wanting and needing some lipids in our diet.
Creamy fat from cows milk, the butter of white chocolate, both leaving the "full" feeling on our palate, is only but a natural desire we have in seeking nutrients and satiety.
And anyways, without some lipids, we can't absorb lipid based nutriets. What other reason to justify the consuming of chocolate; in moderation, of course.
I like white chocolate, but when it comes to eating chocolate, I need both parts.

you've had me chuckling all afternoon
Yeah, I'm not a failure.
It is a most welcomed compliment that you have written and I thank thee.:-)
The caveat to a compliment of which you've given is, though I feel encouraged and edified, I will now have a spell of writings that will lead me in a downward spiral. The lot has been cast, even, with this reply. Woe, woe, woe is me.
