EMI to offer DRM-free music downloads

?% | 1

Hell froze over, and nobody noticed.

Clicky

Even though I live in a country where downloading copyrighted material for private use is legal, I'm half-tempted to buy a few albums. You know, just to tell EMI that I support the idea.
Now, if they could just part with Apple's evil iTunes and change the prices to something reasonable...

Consider yourself hugged.

Lol.....i noticed, but didn't post about it. That's exdcellent for those who never got the news.
My thought is that it was only going to be a matter of time before this happened.
The whole DRM-thing is just bloated, and elitist. My CD breaks, or the shitty substrate they use comes off, and now I have to buy another copy??
F*** them.

The Cranesbill--a surprising pick by Emmet.
