But the general area of Munich/Augsburg would be fine for me, there's a lot more going on there in terms of sightseeing/partying/beer tasting than at my place anyway.

I'm possibly going to work together with a Munich-based company in the course of the next few months, so maybe I could too come to Munich - to show you all the "off-the-touri"-sites (and maybe invite some friends to join) ;)

Anyway, there are at least two pubs I'd like to introduce you to:

1. The 'Flex' - a former punk-only pub, has turned now way more to the alternative corner, but still is worth a visit. Hope they havent changed the furniture yet - it's kinda antique, as in "legendary" :D

2. The 'Kings & Queens' - just about a walk of 10 minutes away from the above mentioned location, but more centered toward the punk, hardcore and metal crowd. Also smaller, but offering Augustiner from the keg ;)

I love the Augustiner!! I can find it even here in Itay in some particular stores where they sell only top quality stuff that you cannot find basically anywhere else. Maybe we could put up an import/export activity based on that beer? :P

An average Augustiner Helles Vollbier contains about 5,2 % alcohol.
