Reading What Rules

I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Merry Kwanza, and Happy New Year.

Regardless of whatever you celebrate, the holidays rock and that's why I posted this here in the What Rules category.

This last holiday, Easter, passed by as did Valentines day, St. Patrick's Day, New years, and Christmas as well.
For a couple of years now the holidays that each year holds, I'm sorry to say, just come and go like any other day.

I think the problem lays with how much commercialism I see drowning more and more of the meaning of the holiday.
I would love to say that I take time to prepare for each one and make it a celebration, but all I can do is wonder what would happen if the people who celebrated the first of each holiday were to come here now and see how the day is celebrated.

In the mean time, I hope yours was everything you wanted it to be.
