Well, folks, I'm still alive and beating.

A new relationship is in the making, also, the freelancing job seems to work out somewhat ;)

I sincere hope that at least the last one will work out fine, so that no matter if the first mentioned thing does or does not work for me, I still can go on for something ;)

Ie. if my job's kinda stable, this would be a benifit for my current developing and future relationships. That has been the simple cause why my last relationship didn't last: No real future / just instability after half a year :-/

Re: Rotten

Congratulations on the new relationship in the making.

Freelancing is wonderful. I hope you get enough business to keep you busy for years to come. :)

Something that alot of people don't think about is that any job is subject to ending at any time. For some reason though, there is this idea that if your working for someone else things are more stable and secure. They arn't.

Freelancing is a smaller scale business that's the only difference.
There are trade offs that come with each. But freelance allows a person to dress as they choose, have a private life the way they choose and work the hours they choose.

The biggest thing right now that is making freelance attractive more and more is the thought of not having to fill out applications, do the song and dance to get my foot in the door and end up doing something that really sucks to earn a living.

Re: Rotten

I always wanted to freelance but I'm not the kind of person that likes to deal with customers or their requirements. I just want to do the work with none of the politics. So I've been torn and never tried.
