Environment variables in a CGI program written in HLA

I have tried to write a CGI program in HLA (High Level Assembly), but I can't find out how to access the environment variables.

what IS HLA?
maybe you just try one of those nifty scripting languages?
eg. expect/tk, tcl/tk, etc.?

HLA is a variation of assembly, but supports some additional commands like control structures. HLA is easier to write than normal assembly, and is easier to debug, and is easier to port between windows and linux os.

you can read more about it here:
http://webster.cs.ucr.edu/Page_AoAWin/HTML/AoATOC.html

Note that HLA supports all normal assembly commands also, so an example on my question in asm would be ok too.

I'm programming under windows, if you need to know.

Re: Environment variables in a CGI program written in HLA

maybe you just code yourself some other prog in C or PERL or plain ASM that just reads out that stuff and handles it over to your HLA prog?

would be a 'quick an dirty' solution, but i think not many folks here are coding in HLA, do they - so this might be the first step of a solution ...

I found a header file on the internet I could download to make WIN32 API calls in HLA.
