What can i do?

recently i had a dream, now you have to understand i am in the least suspcious category of person. the dream was about what men don't often dream about. men usually dream of material posessions ( hi-tech gadgets). my dream was about love, the woman was not of extraordinary beauty but i myself don't look at beauty. the feelings i felt for this girl were so awsome that i still feel them now. it's wierd i usually don't think of this stuff much. i can still see her face and the deep warm feeling she gave me. i would not trade it for anything in the world but at the same time she doesn't exist. maybe i'm just stupid and should shut up.

Who told you this nonsense?

So, what's so bad about it? Enjoy dreams like this! Be happy about the ability to remember it at all and if you're able to remember her face, who knows, you will recognize her once she's crossing your way IRL. There are only few who are able to recognize their dreams when they see it! Thats not stupid nor hopeless, its a gift... can be! ;-)

Re: What can i do?

thanks for the cool words. i really don't believe she exists and if she did it would cause a problem because i'm married. at best she and i could only have a glance at each other because i do not plan on cheating on my wife. hopefully she does exist for those out there who are single and could give her everything she needs and deserves.

Well, I like to think I'm very good at deciferring dreams. That woman could easily symbolize your desires. It doesn't necessarily mean you crave to have an affair with another women by any means.

I can't tell for sure unless I get more details. Any specific features on this woman? Were you alone with her? Where were you? Anything that seemed significant in your dreams that you can remember (objects/people that stand out in a dream are almost certainly symbolic in some way).?

A friend of mine had a dream that she was trying to escape from a Nazi war camp. There were 3 other people with her trying to escape. They were about to get caught, but one of them put on a Nazi guard suit and pretended to be escorting the prisoners elsewhere and they escaped.

There are several things I can draw from that dream. First, she didn't remember the faces or names of any of the guards, so the problem she perceived by the guards and the camp in general is vague. This implies she feels she is under pressure or danger and she has to escape, but she doesn't have a specific problem she's trying to escape from. Also, the fact that someone else put on a Nazi guard suit and helped her escape implies that she thinks she can escape the problems if she relies on her friends (if she had done it, it would imply she thought she could get herself out of the mess).

This is just the tip of the iceburg. Something as simple as a knife in a dream can have many different symbols depending on how it is used. A knife can be a threatening object, or it can represent a sexual object (women might like to see a long knife to give you an idea..).

So write back the details and I'll try to decode yoru dream further. :)

Re: What can i do?

it has been so long since i had the dream that most of it is vague. i remember she had long brown straight hair, which is wierd because i like short hair. we were in public when she admitted her fealings for me and there were no sexual relations at all, ever. we were both in fear of something i never knew what it was even in the dream. eventually we both agreed she should marry someone else who could take better care of her. believe me it took a while to convince myself and her that it would be for the best. we remained really close friends and abided our time until something happened and we finally got to be together some years later. that's about all the significent stuff i can remember.
so what ya think?

Did all of this happen in the dream? Does this resemble past history at all? That's important. You could just be replaying something that has happened to you in the past.

If not, then I would assume that since you thought that someone else should take care of her and not you implies you don't think you are worthy of such a person and/or you don't think you can take care of her. She may represent someone you've known in the past, or just the object of your desire that you know you shouldn't have (though I don't think that'd be the case or you wouldn't be able to remember what she looked like in much detail).

Re: What can i do?

in the past i had been in love similar to this but i don't get the feeling it was her. i think someone else could do better for her because at this point in my life i would only wind up lying to her ( because i am married ) and would only wind up hurting her. whoever does get her better be ready for everlasting unconditional love. she is a wonderful person and deserves the best.
as far as the past, one night in between sleeping and being awake i heard her say she loved me. we parted on bad terms and i really hope it was her and that she really meant it. it was very reassuring and only made the pain of losing her that much worse.

That's an interesting dream. I'll let you in on a little secret that nobody is going to believe, least of all from me.

I had a dream just like that. I met her five years later (for the first time!) and we married. It was *exactly* the same girl.

Have you ever seen the movie Brazil?
I hope that that sort of thing doesn't end up happening to you.
