held me down.i was hysterical crying but they didnt care, they just carried on.and as soon as the fat boy let me go i immediatly picked up the nearest chair and throw it at the fat kid, resulting in me being expelled.oh well
yeah. oh so beautiful englisch school system. and there are STILL parents in germany who like their kids attend such one ... :>
naa... i was on private schools only, because "there wasn't any place to go elsewhere" - so then we go next one of my phobias: i get kind of _very_ uneasy, when I'm going down a stair, and somebody is going behind me holding some heavy objects, eg. suitcases, or something else.
this is, because some 8 years ago one of those very "nice" guys in my former school (a boarding school - see there, there and there) thought it would be really "nice" to push me down the stairs - and did this not only one time, but when i totally shocked walked down the next stairs, he tried to push me down again!!! 8-o
the only other phobia i got is a slightly, very low klaustrophibia (btw.: the german "platzangst" / "room panic" is NOT the same, but meaning panic/fear of very WIDE spaces, eg. places, halls, etc.), that kicks in sometimes when the subway tends to stand still in the tunnel-corner and waits till the other train is coming out of the station... but it's, as already said, only a slightly fear, and only happens in trains and similar.

I'm afraid of mice.
That's probably the fault of our cats. We've always had at least one cat and cats wouldn't be real cats if they didn't catch mice. As they aren't used to kill them immediately, mice were (and are)running inside our house and imagine how nice it is to get woken up by a cat that stands on your breast purring with a freshly catched mouse in her mouth. Then, just like a present, she lets the mouse drop on you and the latter will scamper on you and this isn't nice and comfortable at all! A suitable alternitive of getting woken up nicely is if you open your eyes and see the body of a headless mouse lying on your pillow right next to your head. UGH!!! AHHHH!!!
Or how about you step into your shoe and strangely, your foot doesn't quite fit in there! So you take a look into your shoe and what do you see...? -Surprise! a dead mouse! How nice!
Ahhh! I'd like to cut off my foot that has touched it!
Or what about a thrown-up mouse? Mmmm, yummie! I mean, not every cat is as lovely as that! Some cats are said to eat their mice up entirely or don't even catch mice! But ours don't belong to that sort of cats unfortunately.
And so they made me afraid of mice...
Tschüss, alder Babbsack! Hier parkste richtig.
oxygenius, I think the phobia you are thinking of is Agoraphobia. That's the fear of open spaces I think.
I have slight claustrophobia. My older brother used to roll me up in a carpet. I hated that so much. I couldn't move at all, and my head was completely surrounded by rolled up carpet. Very terrifying. I don't get claustrophobic when I'm in a small elevator, but just when I get rolled up into carpets. lol
If there is a phobia for getting rolled up into carpets, I'm there.
If the world should blow itself up,the last audible voice would be an expert saying it can't be done
Ahhh. A new topic at last. I was beginning to wonder if everyone had taken a vacation.
I'm not really afraid of anything much - except doing something slightly straining on my legs and having them break in a horrible fashion. Like if one of my legs twisted under me and the bone broke about 90 degrees. I've seen some pictures of stuff like that and I must say that the possibility makes me shudder.
And deep water that I can't see through. Because you never know what might be lurking under there... waiting for a chance to bite off your legs or suck you down into the ooze at the bottom.
Not that these are very major fears.

My very first horror movie was "the Blob" at about the age of l2........to this day I will not have red plum jam or jelly in the house....and I love the taste.
It's a shame too.....if the "Blob" was just a bit clearer..surely I would have picked out Jello to distrust...I just don't like that stuff period.
quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
weeeeelll. i can quite understand this.
since the time I watched "Alien 2" I sometimes get during night the very panically thought there's some little Alien breed crawling around in the corner over there.
no, thats NOT a joke.
but I still got no Arachnophobia. Wonder why? :D

Thanks-
At least I am not the only person that freaks out about aliens. You should have seen me after the movie Signs... I would have never gone to see it but my Finace talked me into it. I was up all night... no matter how close to the water our camp site was... I made him take me home. I was so scared. On the way home I was talking to him in the car, mind you he lives in Canada and his car is infested with spiders. Well I didn't noticethe spider crawling up my leg, I guess it was because I am raise in a Italian family.... well anyways I screamed so loud and scared him, because I thought I felt a hand. *laughs* It was soooo funny:D
