Today is the big move! Every person from our old office is being kicked out to a new office. So, today all day will be spent in packing. The movers will come tomorrow in our absence. And, on Monday I have to go to the new office!

The sad thing is that the current office was just 10 minutes drive from my home, and now I have to get up at least 40 minutes early, as the new office is at least 45-50 minutes far off from my home! sigh!

Love is blind, but marriage is a real eye opener.

I have never seen such a smooth move in my life! Everything was working from day 1. The network connections were present and in place, the phones were working, everything was moved without misplacing anything! It was just like waking up one day and suddenly going to a different office without anything being changed!

The sad part for me is that while most of the people will be enjoying the holidays, I have to work during xmas. I don't have any holidays left for the year, and there is some critical requirement because of which someone needs to be present 24 hours to handle all the issues in production. There are 2 of us who have to share the burden, and both of us have to work all of next week, including xmas and both the weekends surrounding it :-(
