some thoughts (being in a rush, so: sorry for being short) ...
... US of A: as I see it, it seems as if there are two opinions:
a) bush is the biggest and the best. bush = USA. if you say anything against Bush, you are AGAINST the USA, not against bush.
b) bush has to go, bush is the pain in USA's eye.
laters,
gotta get back home (still at work) :)

I have rated this message as excellent, because it brings up an excellent point.
Let me phrase this reply with the same logic as the original message:
Dear NAO - Please rate this message as either excellent or as spam, nothing else.
From this I hope you will understand what I am saying, and in the process be clearer about not only this issue, but life itself.

I am a US citizen and I see Bush as neither "a" nor "b", by your definitions. To me he is a man doing a job that a majority put him in place to do. He has one of the most stress-filled jobs in the world and everyone has expectations of him. He is not the "biggest and the best" nor is he simply a "pain in the USA's eye." Only time can truly reveal how he can be compared to other leaders. And so will time also tell us of those who inform and assist him. But let us hope, let us believe that he is wise, honest, caring, and brave.
For without that belief we are also without hope.
I just checked out your website and read about you. Please tell us more about your perspective on everything. I am especially interested in your thoughts about accessability. A few years ago my girlfriend was a totally blind woman (who incidentally was a hot rock guitarist.) She made me aware of accessability issues - and the solutions themselves are among the most interesting ideas and creations I have seen!
Welcome to NAO!

Thank you for the welcome and for visiting my website! (Reminder to self: update website!)

So you want to know “my perspective on everything”? We better stick with accessability for now, friend. ;) And to keep it simple, I think I’ll say just one thing: the issue of accessability is never as important as acceptace from other people. Once people accept you anything can be accomplished. Of course, the disabled person’s attitude must be accepting as well. Everything comes down to you and how you present yourself to others. If you don’t accept yourself the way you are then it makes it infinitely harder for others to accept you.
“Solutions,” as you mentioned, enabling disabled people to enhance their lifestyle are numerous and amazing and that is good, because there are more and more people disabled every day. The better our medicine and surgeons get, the more people continue to survive traumatic and often, what used to be, deadly experiences. As awareness spreads so does accessability. However, never be deceived. Disabilities are tremendously varied. There is no one solution for everyone and there never will be. But that keeps life challenging and it brings out the best in everyone, for when we are challenged we adapt.
Thanks, again!

At some point, I would be interested to read what you have to say about how your accident changed you. How difficult was it for you to accept the change? What was the process and/or what helped you accomplish the change?
I think we all stand to learn something from this.
